How directory records are sourced, imported, scoped by jurisdiction, reviewed, dated, corrected, and presented without fabricated providers or ratings.
Source hierarchy
Prefer official licensing, registration, inspection, certification, health-authority, and provider sources. In the US this may include CMS and state agencies; in the UK, CQC, Care Inspectorate, CIW, RQIA, councils, and health bodies; in Canada, provincial or territorial ministries, regulators, health authorities, and inspection systems. A source being official does not make every field current, so dates and context matter.
Import and review
Administrators use a security-controlled CSV workflow with a non-writing dry run, byte-identical confirmation, bounded files, country and region validation, jurisdiction checks, and compensating rollback on write failure. Records default to draft. Cities and local areas are created only from scoped, sourced imports or verified taxonomy assignments; the plugin ships no facility or city inventory.
What publication means
A published record means the administrator chose to make the sourced directory entry public. It is not an endorsement, placement recommendation, ownership verification, vacancy statement, or guarantee of regulatory standing. Rating fields display only with a named source, and the plugin does not generate reviews or aggregate-rating schema.
Freshness and gaps
Where available, records identify a primary source and last-verified date. Blank fields remain blank rather than being inferred. Visitors should follow the cited source and confirm material facts directly. Corrections should identify the affected listing, disputed field, authoritative evidence, and date checked.
