- Ask the local council or health and social care body how needs and financial assessments work where the person lives.
- Clarify whether quoted fees include nursing, activities, continence supplies, transport, and one-to-one support.
- Check the contract’s notice, fee-review, absence, hospital-stay, and third-party top-up provisions.
