Use the filters to narrow published listings by country, state, province or region, city, care type, service, facility type, payment or funding option, ownership, and feature. A missing value means the directory does not currently hold verified information for that field; it does not mean that a service is unavailable.
Directory information is a research starting point, not a placement recommendation. Before making a decision, contact the provider and check the applicable government regulator or licensing authority for current registration, inspection findings, enforcement history, services, prices, vacancies, and eligibility rules.
A practical way to search
Start with the country and region, then add only the filters that matter to the person needing care. Open promising listings in separate tabs, note each record’s source and last-verified date, and compare the same facts across providers.
- Confirm that the home can assess and support the person’s current needs.
- Ask for a written explanation of recurring charges, optional fees, deposits, and notice periods.
- Read the latest official inspection or licensing material in its full context.
- Visit when possible and ask how staffing, medicines, complaints, safeguarding, and emergency planning work in practice.
About geographic coverage
Countries and top-level regions come from a controlled directory vocabulary. Cities and local areas appear only when an administrator imports sourced records through the verified CSV workflow or assigns appropriately scoped taxonomy terms. The directory does not invent locations or providers to fill gaps.
